Audio file
Choose MP3, M4A/AAC, WAV, FLAC, OGG or AIFF files from this device. Large AIFF files will prompt you to convert to M4A or MP3 first.
Listen to external music
Play Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud or another source through your phone or a nearby speaker, then let the microphone drive the visualiser. Headphones/AirPods will not be picked up reliably.

Device checks
Checks have not been run on this device yet.
Checks Web Audio, local playlist storage, fullscreen, screen wake lock, render performance and the current audio engine state. No data leaves the device.
Performance
Auto quality watches frame rate locally and lowers render resolution only if this device struggles.
Auto is recommended for mixed iPhone generations. It does not change the audio, EQ, playlists or DJ timing.
Listen & sound meter M48.7.5
Listen to external audio
Listen mode is off. Start it to make the visualiser react to music playing through speakers.

Weighting
Response
Before calibration, the app shows microphone input health but does not pretend dBFS is a real-world SPL value. Calibrate beside a trusted sound meter or acoustic calibrator to display dBA/dBC/dBZ.

Volume & output
85%
Volume works immediately. EQ processing remains off until enabled, preserving the proven native playback path.
EQ output / preamp
0.0 dB
Positive values genuinely add level. EQ boosts are no longer automatically turned down unless Auto gain is switched on. A soft limiter only catches peaks that approach clipping.
Output peak—
If audio becomes distorted, silent or stuck after heavy EQ/DJ use, Safe audio reset returns the sound engine to Flat EQ, 0 dB output and DJ Mix Off without touching playlists.
Equalizer
Shape the sound with true boosts and cuts. Bass Boost and Bright now add energy instead of mainly reducing other frequencies.
Real-time analyzer & EQ curve
Presets & comparison
175%
100% uses the preset as designed. 150–200% deliberately exaggerates the tonal change for phone speakers and quick A/B comparison.
Parametric bands
Bell, low-shelf, high-shelf, notch, high-pass and low-pass filters are available on every band. Positive gain boosts; negative gain cuts. Dynamic mode reacts only on gain-capable filters. Linear phase uses the static EQ curve; Dynamic EQ pauses while Linear phase is active.
DJ Mix · optional
DJ Mix is off. Normal track changes are unchanged.
Smart DJ analyses BPM locally on this device, preloads only the next track, beat-aligns compatible tracks, preserves pitch while tempo-matching, can level-match the handover, uses a clean, ducked handover so vocals and drums do not fight, hands the bass from one deck to the other, and falls back to a short smooth crossfade when beat detection is uncertain. Tap a BPM badge in the queue to correct a detection manually. It does not apply to microphone/Listen mode.
